REBECCA ROCKLYNN

 Rebecca Rocklynn is a DJ, rapper and songwriter currently working on her second album, The Slim Lady LP. Her style has been heavily influenced by her time paying dues in Montreal and travelling the world. Rocklynn has released two songs with EL $ABOR on Mad Decent’s Latin sub label, Mal Dicen! this year. Those songs were praised upon reviews in VICE: Noisey and LessThan3.

 As a DJ she’s opened for countless acts such as Genetix, Snails, THUGLI, DJ Smokey, Adam Doubleyou and more. She moved to the city of Toronto and previously held a residency at the award winning Queen Street Warehouse and El Furniture Warehouse. Rocklynn DJ’ed Ever After Music Festival 2016 and previously performed as a dancer for the festival in 2015. She performed as a rapper and DJ at SXSW (South By Southwest) 2016 in Austin, Texas. She’s appeared in Zeds Dead’s music video for “Collapse 2.0″ (feat Memorecks) and Oliver Heldens music video for “Shades Of Grey” (feat. Shaun Frank). She’s had cameo appearances in Baker Skateboard’s hit videos “Shake Junt” and “The Deathwish Video”, to name a few. Rocklynn is currently based in Los Angeles, California.

 She has opened at The Danforth Music Hall for artists such as RIFF RAFF, which led to two collaborations with the Mad Decent artist. One of which also features Panther and Mike G from Odd Future. She has also collaborated with Amsterdam’s DJ Billy The Kit. Rocklynn has opened for rappers such as; Obie Trice, Camm Hunter, Yung Simmie, Swisha T, Robin Banks. Her first mashup: “Set It Off vs. Money Dance” (Diplo vs. DJ Drizzle) is supported by DJ Drizzle. Her first album ‘Tired&Dirty but Happy’ was released November 10th, 2014, featuring two tracks produced by REZZ, also featuring a track produced by ANDRU.
